Welcome to the Holroyd Medical Practice – GP owned and GP operated. We have been providing comprehensive medical care in Merrylands for over 80 years. Our team of doctors, registered nurses and practice staff are dedicated to attending to all of your medical needs through their wealth of knowledge, skills and experience of the local area. We pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive range of medical services for all people in the community – including babies, preschoolers, teens and working adults, through to pensioners and those living in residential care. We are committed to the ideal that people should have their own doctor.

All of our doctors are vocationally registered and committed to ongoing professional development.

The practice meets the highest Australian Standard of Care – AGPAL accredited.

From time to time the practice hosts medical students from the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney, who are training to become doctors. Your involvement in training our doctors of the future is highly valued. We are also involved in training doctors to become fully independent General Practitioners through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Pathology Collections:

Douglass Hanly Moir provide a very convenient pathology collection service from our premises. Opening times: Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday 8 am to 11:30 am. Telephone: (02) 9682 7527.
